Our recently refurbished library is the central learning hub of the school. Students have access to an abundance of print and electronic resources to support their learning. A wonderful feature of the library is our media room, where students can film themselves using the ‘green screen’ to present their work in a variety of creative ways. The library also hosts ‘Early Bird’ Reading three mornings per week. Students come to the library to read with their parents, older brothers and sisters, and senior students, known affectionately as ‘Reading Tutors’. There is always a wonderful bustling atmosphere in the library.

Our library provides a social space to meet, collaborate, research, learn, share, and relax. The staff work to develop a reading culture and raise the levels of information literacy across the school by leading students through processes which empower them to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers and skillful, efficient and discerning researchers.

The Oliver library management system, together with the ACEN digital library provide 24/7 access to a wealth of authentic, authoritative, age appropriate resources to specifically meet student and staff needs.
